Meet Dr. Art Salinas
D.D.S.
Born and raised in McAllen, Texas, Dr. Salinas first earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas. Guided by a mentor, he later pursued dentistry and completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at UTRGV.
He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry – Texas A&M Health Science Center in 2014 and was admitted directly into a residency at the University of Nebraska, where he specialized in Periodontics.
After residency, Dr. Salinas returned to the Rio Grande Valley, where he co-founded Cornerstone Periodontics and Implant Dentistry with Dr. Stacy Beltran. He has been proud to serve patients across the Valley with advanced periodontal care and dental implant treatment.
While in residency, Dr. Salinas and his wife welcomed identical twin daughters and later a third daughter. Outside the practice, he’s an avid golfer who enjoys time with friends and family.
